More than 1,000 international students are studying in the university, from more than 70 countries. NCEPU has now trained nearly 8,000 international students in China. After graduation, some international students study for master's or doctoral degrees at North China Electric Power University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the University of Montreal in Canada. Most of the other graduates who did not continue their studies found employment and entrepreneurship in power companies, energy companies, scientific research institutions and other units in their respective countries. Some graduates also worked in Chinese power companies that were going global to serve “the One Belt, One Road” initiative. Build a bridge of friendship between China and other countries.
